Get your hiking shoes on for this one!  We will be tackling some of the most challenging and scenic treks that California’s National Parks have to offer.  This adventure will involve miles of hiking daily, ascending thousands of vertical feet in order to obtain the most dramatic views.  We summit Yosemite’s harrowing Cloud’s Rest and Half Dome, both of which are accessible only by way of narrow ledges with sheer cliffs on one side of the trail; we raft the whitewater of the Kaweah river; we even ride horses along the winding trails of Kings Canyon, before trekking to Sequoia’s General Sherman, the largest living tree in the world!

Day 1

"Sacramento"

Climb aboard your RV and make yourself comfortable in your new home for the week!  Enjoy dinner and refreshments as we hit the road.  Get to know your mates, share stories and prepare for the upcoming intense personal challenge.
Day 2

"The Land of the Gianats"

After an early breakfast, we hit the trails and explore one of the world’s most magnificent forests.  We navigate deep into Sequoya National Park and even climb the granite monolith known as Moro Rock.
Day 3

"Mooney Falls"

Today we hike even deeper into the canyon, clinging onto chains and ladders while descending down to the brilliant turquoise waters of Mooney Falls.  We play in this natural oasis-spa before hiking back to our cozy beds in our hidden Indian Village’s Lodge for our last night in this amazing canyon!

Day 4

"Caverns"

After an 8 mile hike back out of the canyon, ascending almost a vertical mile, the fun is just beginning.  In March, 2016, new caverns were discovered hundreds of feet below the Arizona desert, and we’re going to be among the very first to explore them with our headlamps.  A bbq back at our RV closes out the day.

Day 5

"No Claustrophobics Allowed"

Let our expert guides take you through some of the most spectacular slot canyons in the world.  See what wind and water can do given a few million years in Escalante National Monument as we squeeze through the stunning, winding trails of this natural masterpiece.

Day 6

"HooDoo You Think You Are?"

Welcome to Bryce Canyon, the land of the HooDoos!  Stick close to your guides as we navigate over 9 miles around and through these natural soldier-like rock formations, full of hidden paths and dead ends, and witness this truly unique landscape of the west.
Day 7

"Top of the World"

If there was one National Park experience that allows for more bragging rights for those who have conquered it than any other, it might just be Angels Landing in Zion.

We first tackle the near-vertical switchbacks of Walter’s Wiggles in order to push our way to this vertigo-inducing path leading to the top of this infamous peak!

Not for the faint of heart, as we hang onto chains while walking ledges along these sheer cliffs.  Get your cameras ready when you reach the summit.

Day 8

"Back to Salt Lake City"

You made it!  Get ready to tell your friends at home about your trip-of-a-lifetime as we return you to Salt Lake City.  You will be the envy of all that see your pictures, and hear your stories.  Until next time…
